Quandongs are a superfood packed with protein, natural oils, iron and zinc, vitamin C and antioxidants. This nutritional fruit grows widely throughout the central deserts and southern areas of Australia, particularly in arid areas.
Eaten traditionally, the Quandong was also used as bush medicine and contains essential oils.
This versatile fruit can be eaten straight from the tree, including the skin, can be dried or frozen to be used later.
